finding voice, vision & VILLAGE
The Village KC is a 501(c)(3) youth organization that has been serving 5th-12th grade students in the Greater Kansas City Area since 2020.
With a primary focus on Black youth, our mission is to remove barriers and create access to quality opportunities that 1) inspire creativity, 2) promote healthy lifestyles and 3) introduce life skills that will empower students to turn their dreams into reality.
By cultivating a safe space, these experiences will help students grow, learn more about themselves and become change agents in their community.

rooted in COMMUNITY, growing TOGETHER
At VKC, we value COMMUNITY. We acknowledge the wealth of knowledge and resources that reside among us.
We understand that our children's future is dependent on the village making our presence known, and showing up in their lives. Therefore, we all must be STAKEHOLDERS in the upbringing, support, discipline, and encouragement of our youth.
Whether it's Black business owners, church leaders, educators, etc. - - - everyone has a PLACE and a PURPOSE in the village.
